Courtney has always had a love for words and storytelling,
which motivated her to pursue a career in public relations and journalism.
In her professional career, she has provided guidance and execution strategies for media relations, crisis communication, social media management, and event planning for automotive, healthcare providers, nonprofits, food/beverage, and social impact organizations. Her writing background includes published press releases, informative articles, and bylines.
Her latest project is writing a picture book series, with the first book of the series set to launch in 2021.
She is an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Scottsdale Society of Women's Writers (SSWW), and the Phoenix Writer's Network.
Courtney received a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Public Relations and a Social Media Certificate from Central Michigan University. She currently works at Sprouts Farmers Market in sponsorships.
This Michigan native lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
When she isn't writing, you can find her hiking the desert mountains or camping in the wilderness (probably eating a s'more).
